Each of the MINI Convertible trim levels has its own powertrain. The MINI Cooper S Convertible comes with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine. This 189-horsepower engine features a seven-speed dual-clutch auto transmission. One of the 2024 model year updates is the new option of a six-speed manual transmission.
The 2024 MINI Cooper S Convertible is available with several optional packages, and some of these packages have been updated this year. If you choose the Resolute Edition, your MINI Convertible will have the new Rebel Green paint color. This package has a cream and yellow tweed interior and bronze hood stripes. The Seaside Edition is unique for the 2024 model year and only offered with the MINI Cooper S Convertible trim level. With the Seaside Edition, your MINI Convertible will have black leather upholstery, a special wheel design, white body stripes, and either Nanuq White or Caribbean Aqua body paint.
Other than the changes introduced with these optional packages, the exterior of the MINI Cooper S Convertible is unchanged for the 2024 model year. This four-door model has an engaging personality with smooth sides, slits on the front bumper and hood, and circular LED headlights. This convertible vehicle also has 16-inch wheels and summer or all-performance tires.
